Fasten gable trim with x inch metal to metal lap screws. Install the roofing screws vertically along each rib in the panel. Ridge caps should be installed so that all end laps are away from the prevailing wind. Align the first metal roofing panel so that it overlaps the edging by 1 2 to 3 4 of an inch and is square to the roof.

Insert a magnetic 1 4 inch driver bit into a power drill. You can see my pencil marks where i ve had it up on the roof and i ve made the measures to fit in between the panel and the gable trim. Butyl sealant tape should be placed parallel to the gable on the high seam of the roofing panel. Place the first screw.

Align the center bend of the ridge cap directly over the center line of the roof ridge. I m going to mark the z trim cut it and install it so that we can install the end wall trim using stitch screws. The cutting of the z trim is straight forward. Be sure the larger edge is laid so that the small edge of the next panel will overlap it.

Fastening prior to fastening gable trim remove all protective plastic from gable trim.
