Hold your material taut in front and back of the presser foot.
How to sew plastic sheets together.
Lessen the pressure on the pressure foot.
Adjust the stitch length to 3 for ordinary stitching and 4 for top stitching.
Do not pull on the sheeting as it may stretch it just hold it firmly as you sew.
Spread the sheet flat and tack the two ends down the same way you did the first sheet.
But for thicker vinyl use denim sewing needles.
A dull needle is not good news with this material.
Sewing plastic together is actually a better option than trying to tape or glue it together as the sewn knots are closer together and less damaging to the plastic.
You can use ordinary sewing needle for thin plastic and vinyl sewing.
Donot use leather sewing needles as it will tear into the material.
Change sewing needle after every project.

Step 2 cut a piece of tape 1 foot long.
Lower the presser foot.
Pull up your presser foot and place your pinned sheeting on the machine with the tissue paper side down.
Pin the plastic sheeting together using standard sewing pins at 3 to 5 inch intervals.
Lay down another sheet with 1 inch overlapping the edge of the first piece.
If the plastic sheeting is very thick you can use staples about 6 inches apart.
