I am using special siding clamps that lets me do everything solo.
Then i m going to go to the other side and fold that to the middle.
Pull on the tarp on the side draped over the truck until the material at the end of the truck bed overhangs about 3 or 4 feet.

It slips into the groove between adjoining slats and once it clicks into place you can hang items as heavy as 12 pounds.
The 2 by 4 should be about 2 feet longer than the tarp width.
You should space the boards about 6 to 12 inches apart.
Now we re going to start on the short side and we re going to fold that to the middle.
Snip off the corners of each x to make holes in the tarp.
The easiest and safest way to hang something from vinyl siding is to use a siding hook.
Lay the tarp flat in the bed of the truck and drape the excess material over the cab.
Lay more 2 by 4s on either side of the tarp and attach those as well for a tight well secured water barrier.
Screw the 2 by 4 directly into the roof to secure it.
Use a nail gun to attach the rafter boards between the headers of the canopy s frame.
Most hooks are stainless steel so they won t corrode and they are easy to remove when you re done with them.
But i had no idea how to hang things on vinyl siding without damaging it.
Then fold the excess tarp under a few rotations for a tight clean fit.
Cut an x at each mark with a utility knife making each cut 1 2 inch long.
With the rafters in place and secured to the headers you will be able to attach the canopy tarp to the canopy s frame.
Step 2 place your items to be transported in the bed of the truck as neatly and proportionately as possible.
Then i m going to repeat that one more time folding to the middle on both sides.
Place a piece of scrap wood under the tarp where you made marks.
